Christmas Eve Services

There’s something beautiful about the way Christmas gathers us—kids in pajamas, candlelight in trembling hands, hymns rising like prayers in the winter air. This year at Bethlehem, we’re leaning into the wonder of the season with services designed to meet every heart right where it is.
We begin with Quiet Christmas on December 21st at 6:00 PM, a gentle, candle-lit service led by our bell choir. For many, the holidays carry both joy and ache—and this reflective time of Scripture and song offers space for peace, healing, and hope.
On Christmas Eve at 10:00 AM, bring the kids (and stay in your jammies!) for our Pajama Family Service. We’ll walk together through the Christmas story in a way children can see, hear, and feel. And yes—homemade rolls will be waiting afterward. Nothing says “welcome” quite like warm bread and warm community.
Later that day, we’ll gather again for the heart of Christmas tradition: Candlelight Services at 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM, each with Holy Communion. Few moments capture the mystery of the Incarnation like a sanctuary glowing with candles as we sing “Silent Night.”
Finally, on Christmas Day at 9:00 AM, we gather once more—with Communion—to welcome the newborn King and celebrate the promise that “the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.”
Wherever you are in your journey—joyful, weary, searching, or simply needing to breathe—there is a place for you this Christmas at Bethlehem. Come and worship. Come and wonder. Come and remember again the miracle that still changes the world.
